ABOUT

Images that lean towards People, Lifestyle and the Environment we live in are the subjects that draw Brighton UK based Photographer, Stuart Price. After receiving a Photography Diploma in 1990 and a short spell at ILFORD in the printing department, he immediately started building up a body of Landscape work using a Gandolfi large format camera. In 1997, he entered and won an Image Bank / Campaign Magazine Award where his work was exhibited at The Mall Galleries in London. This award was designed and presented to him by a young Thomas Heatherwick (Vessel, NY).

His style is uncomplicated, simple and geometric searching for patterns and symmetry in the landscape, people and the spaces they inhabit. He is a great observer, looking for real life quirks of the human condition.

His work has won and been nominated for many awards including winning The International Color Awards for Advertising 2020, a finalist in Spotlight (Production Paradise) - People and Lifestyle as well as gaining the attention of SONY who asked him to shoot a Sony Mobile Xperia Campaign.

Using his in-depth knowledge of composition he also wrote a book called Intuitive Composition which is published by expertphotography.com.
